I am really into fitness and have been athletic all my life. I am tired of being told 'you look good for 40.' I want to be told 'Wow, you look good.' I have been working out a lot lately and am in better shape but I really need to lower my body fat. I sure wouldn't mind adding some more muscle size and definition as well. I am starting a new program on Monday to work on it. Wish me luck *although we know that hard work gets a lot more done than luck- wink/wink*
hey, Just stopping by to say, Hello. looks like you been busy lately. Take Care

Wow, the holidays are over for me and I am back to only working 11 hours a day so I finally got back to the gym last night after taking two weeks off. It felt AWESOME to be back at the gym. I was mad at myself since the two weeks off affected me more than I would have hoped. I finally decided that 'I' am more important than microwave popcorn. I eat pretty healthy every day but had gotten into the habit if eating microwave popcorn every night before I go to bed this past month. I was ignoring how bad it is for me and doing it anyways. It's like spending a lot of time tuning up the engine on a race car (working out) and then putting water in the gas tank. So I chose (and did) quit that habit last night. I am usually a pretty focused person and I got a little extra boost lately. I just started a new business and the person helping me signs her emails 'live with intention.' That phrase really hit home to me. Get off the sidelines and take charge instead of just reacting to life. That is how I am most of the time (making things happen instead of waiting for things to happen) but I had never thought of it that way.
So,,,,,, Live with Intention

I am having a hard time going to the gym right now. I am working 13 hours a day this week and 14 hours a day next week. I just can't talk myself into going until after Christmas when my hours go back to only 11 hours a day. I know if I really wanted to I could do it but I am just going to wait the 2 weeks and not kill myself over it.

This site is about the body and I talked about starting my new program to get into better shape. So I decided I might as well bite the bullet and show you guys where I am starting from. So I just posted new pics that show my physique before I started the new routine to build more muscle.
