I am a personal trainer at One World Fitness in Washington, DC; if you live or work in DC, let me know how I can help you achieve your fitness goals as your trainer. Working out is my passion and I try to learn as much as I can about athletic development and advances in the fitness world. My goal here is to share my passion and to link with others to learn about the latest developments in fitness and exercise science. I graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) where I successfully played 4 years of Division I soccer. I am going to American University this fall to earn a MS in Health Promotion Management. I am a strong believer in the power of the mind and positive thinking. I am driven by the idea that if I can visualize it and believe in it, I can achieve it. If you’re in the DC area and share the same passions as I do, send me a message and we can talk. Even if you don’t live around me, feel free to leave comments and visit my blog at http://jlyoung23.wordpress.com.

Jay, your blog is great. I am surprised you have the time to write and study but then again, you have proclaimed yourself a fitness addict. I would love to have the opportunity to swap blog entries. You are encouraged to write your articles on here as well as on your wordpress blog. We have a few other prolific writers who do this and use it as an opportunity to link back to their blogs. (see Articles link, above). I would also love to contribute to your blog as a guest from time to time. I am not a certified trainer but have spent 25 years in the gym and make my personal nutrition an obsessive science of my own. Either way, let me know.
If you would like to write any of your blogs here, you can simply enter then in your Journal after you log in. Once you submit the Journal entry, you'll see an option to 'Submit As Article' when you open the entry to read it. We'll review it, approve it and send it on its way to the Articles page. Now get back to your studies. :)
