Well, lets see.  When I turned 40, I decided that I would gift myself a more healthy me. I set a goal of completing an ironman-distance triathlon (2.4mi swim, 112mi bike, marathon) which I completed.  I swore I'd stay fit and not let myself get fat & unhealthy.

So its 5 years and 30 pounds later... If this site can provide motivation in some way, that would be awesome. 

What I do now for workouts...4 times per week cardio (3 mile run or 60 minute bike), core strengthening and flexibility and upper body weights. 

I swear after the ironman, I eat less and gain more.  Its like my body adjusted to all the training and became super efficient in using the intake.  Unfortunately, my love handles are proof...

Thats very interesting but yea i'm sure u can eat anything as long as ur burning those calories at the end of the day it really is calories in vs calories out.....although not sure clogging ur arties with fast food is any better but to each their own
