I have been weight training since I was 17 years old.  I am 40 now and want to get back to how I looked at 30.  Like most people I have some challenges:

  • Balance work-life + traveling
  • Balance family (who I love more than breathing!)
  • Shattered elbow (30th Birthday present to myself)
  • 2 surgeries to repair elbow
  • Hernia surgery (glass mat below my belt line)

Hey Drewski!  Thanks for the welcome back!  We made the move and have settled nicely.  My hubby is now deployed over in Iraq till the Spring, so that is a real bummer.  I've also been nursing a recurring neck injury, which has put a damper on my fitness.  So, I'm gonna have to put together a good gym routine that works around that... as well as clean up my diet and cut out the wine.  So I'll be here alot more looking for motivation. 

 

How are you doing?  Hope all is well... I'll have to ask you about hernia surgery... looks like my hubby is going to have it pretty soon... I was hoping they would bring him home early but I think they are going to it in Kuwait. :(
